We are pleased to announce the completion of installation and the opening of a new Unitest Full Mission Engine Room Simulator in Port Moresby, the capital city of Papua New Guinea.
\nThe simulator is located at the Papua New Guinea National Maritime Safety Authority (NMSA). NMSA was established in 2003 and is responsible for matters concerning maritime safety, coordination of search and rescue, and marine pollution prevention.
\nThe simulator includes models of low- and medium-speed engine rooms, as well as LNG-fueled engine rooms with the possibility of learning the LNG bunkering procedure. The simulator will be used by NMSA for training and examinations of marine engineering officers, among other things.
